RVing brings a lot of joy, but like any vehicle can have its share of problems from time to time.
Be prepared with these helpful tips!
Avoid Chemicals in RV Tanks
Chemicals in your tanks can damage the balanced bacteria. Get a good clean with an all-natural method. You can scrub your toilet or sink by sprinkling sugar around the inside, then scrubbing around and rinsing. Sugar will keep your tanks in a healthy bacterial state.
Remove Stains with Ease
Living in a small space can lead to many accidental spills, and stains. Use hydrogen peroxide by rubbing it into the stain or spill and let it sit for a few minutes, rub some more with a dry brush or rag.
Tired of Sweeping?
The simplest and easiest solution to keep your RV free of dust, dirt, mud, rocks, etc. is to keep an outside pair of shoes for when you head out and an inside pair for when you return. This will considerably reduce the sweeping!
Defrosting the Fridge
Is there limited space in your fridge due to ice build-up? Simply place a cookie sheet or cutting board at the back of the freezer and spray it with cooking spray (optional). Leave the freezer open and when it has warmed up a bit, take a butter knife and pull the sheet away from the back of the fridge then place it in the sink or a bowl (use the water for your plants).
Trash Bins are Far
If your RV is parked far from the trash bins, you can use a beach umbrella to hang your trash. Use store bags and hang the trash on the umbrella’s handle on hooks. It also helps in keeping most critters away!
