YSIN (Your Suite In Nature) a Dutch start-up company created in 2008 sought to develop a new and unprecedented camping experience.
Well, we’d say they succeeded with the “Opera”, which is neither a tent, trailer or camping car, but rather a combination of all three rolled into one, offering the refinement of a luxury hotel, out in nature.
Once unfolded, the space is 7 meters long by 3 meters wide, and is equipped with climate control, beds that convert from twins to a double, a ceramic toilet and outdoor shower, not to mention the compact kitchen, a BBQ, and a teak veranda.
The Opera was launched in December 2009 at the Design at Work trade fair in Belgium.
